Sam DiFranco
Founder/ Executive Business Director
Sam Founded Star Point Counseling Center in 2011 and he will answer any questions you may have regarding counseling services, your insurance benefits, and the sliding scale. Sam will help set up your appointment in an easy and hassle-free manner. Sam also coaches an ice hockey team and formed 2 pickleball leagues.
Rosemarie G. Hall-Heyduk
PsyD, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, L.M.F.T., CAC111
Rosamarie is a marriage and family therapist who specializes in marriage counseling, couples counseling and family counseling based on systems approach and John Gottman's couples therapy. Rosemarie also has extensive experience helping people with stress, depression, anxiety, low self esteem, trauma, crisis intervention, substance abuse and dual diagnosis. Rosemarie is also a Certified Gottman Couples Counseling 1 and 11 and EMDR Certified 1 and 11.
Rosemarie received her B.S in Psychology from University of Wisconsin. She received an M.A in Psychology from Chapman University. She received a Doctorate of Psychology from Colorado School of Professional Psychology. Rosemarie also received a Masters in Education from Boston Universities.
Jeffrey Doughman
Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern
Jeffrey has M.S. Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Jeffrey also has a B.S. in Psychology from University of South Florida. Jeffrey is a therapist who has extensive experience with couples counseling, marriage counseling, family counseling, teens, children and individuals. He has helped people with depression, trauma, anxiety, stress, abuse victims, diverse cultures and substance abuse.
Lauren Birtcher
Registered Intern Mental Health Counselor
Lauren has M.S. Degree in Counseling from National Louis University. Lauren also has a B.S. in

Walter Hirtzel
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, L.C.S.W.
Walter is a therapist with over 25 years experience specializing in individual, couples and family psychotherapy. Among his areas of expertise are relationships, parenting, stress management, depression counseling, anxiety counseling, anger management, crisis prevention, reunification therapy and conflict resolution. Walter received his M.S in Psychology & Social Work from Adelphi University.
Steve Foster
Licensed Mental Health Counselor, L.M.H.C
Steve has been a Mental Health Counselor at Star Point Counseling Center since June of 2014.
Steve received his M.S. in Mental Health from Troy University. Steve also has a M.A. in Business Administration from Touro University International and a M.S. in International Relations from Troy University. Steve completed his 2 year Registered Internship at Star Point Counseling Center. Steve became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2016. Steve is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional as well as a Registered Yoga Teacher. He has a broad range of experience in helping individuals, couples counseling and family counseling overcome anxiety, stress, improve communication skills, as well as counseling for separation and divorce, family dynamics, marriage counseling, depression, as well as other challenges.
Carly Reinoehl
Licensed Mental Health Counselor, L.M.H.C./ Clinical Director
Carly received her B.A. in Psychology/Sociology from Northwest Missouri State University in 2009. Carly received her M.A in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in 2013. She also studied Abroad at Maastricht University-Psychology Department-Maastricht, Netherlands in 2007.
Carly is a therapist who has extensive experience with children, teens and family systems counseling with family services counseling. Carly has experience with crisis counseling, marriage counseling, anxiety counseling, depression, stress and anger management counseling. Carly has been with Star Point Counseling Center since July 2018.
Abby Mills
Registered Intern Mental Health Counselor
Abby graduated with an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling. Abby is a therapist who has worked for several social services agencies in Virginia and Florida, and has been with Star Point Counseling since August of 2012. She has experience in trauma, substance dependence and abuse, depression, anxiety, anger management, marriage counseling, couples counseling and family counseling.

​Stephanie received her M. A. in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. Stephanie received her B.A. in Psychology/ Liberal Arts from University of Central Florida. Stephanie completed her 2 year Registered Internship at Star Point Counseling Center. Stephanie has experience with couples counseling, marriage counseling, stress, depression, anxiety, children, teens, family dynamics and child abuse. Stephanie has been at Star Point Counseling Center since February 2017.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Tyler received his M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from University of Central Florida, B.S. in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Florida State University.
Tyler is a therapist who has experience with children, teens, families, marriage & couples counseling, anxiety counseling, depression, stress, trauma therapy, eating disorders and other mental health issues.
Kristina Powell-Samuel
Registered Clinical Social Work Intern
Kristina received Her M.S. in Social Work from University of South Florida. She received her B.S. of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. Kristina has experience with children, teens, families, marriage & couples counseling, anxiety counseling, depression, stress, trauma therapy, substance abuse, bi polar disorder, crisis intervention and behavioral therapy.
